Campaign Story

Hello, my name is Sam and my husband is Todd. We have been trying to have a baby for a little over 4 years now. I’ve had countless blood tests, 3 hysterosalpingographys (HSG), 1 hysteroscopy (HSC), full lower abdomen CT with contrast, and so on. My husband has had surgery to correct a varicocele, countless blood tests, and is seeing a functional medicine doctor who specializes in male fertility. We’ve both drastically changed our lifestyles and diets. We’ve been able to increase his numbers and rule out possible reasons with me. Yet, we are still without a positive test. We just found out our 4th IUI failed, so we will be moving on to other treatments.  IUI was the cheaper treatment, being a little over $1200 each round. We received a  couple quotes for IVF and it would be between $13k-$32k out of pocket. The price of meds is unknown, so that’s why they give you a range. I’ve also looked into going out of state for treatment, because they seem to be less expensive in other places.

We are asking for any financial help you’re able to provide and if you can’t donate, we’d love any and all prayers that our dream of becoming parents comes true soon. We have spent thousands already, trying to accomplish what others can do all on their own. Thank you in advance for any donations and/or prayers.

Update: We received our very first “pregnant” on a digital test only to have my bloodwork come back negative. This has been a very emotional experience for both of us, but we are trying to keep our faith and hope.
